These energy ball were conceived not only out of fandom of the Dragonball franchise. But also the need to increase your green intake and serve as a pre or post workout fuel. If you are on a diet, they are the perfect snack to keep your hunger from junk food at bay. As added bonus, they taste so amazing, that you will forget that its absurdly jampacked with protein and nutrients. They are also incredibly easy to make. Not so cheap tho, especially powders used in this recipe. But you problaby have some of what you need too make these, and you will be able to make multiple batches one all the powders needed are purchashed. Recipe is below.
Equipment used: Food Processor of choice (DO NOT USE BLENDER!! Unless you want to risk cutting your hand.)
Instructions:
1. Put the pistachios and pumpkin seeds in the food prosessor and blend just those two by themselves.
2. Take a healthy amount of pumpkin seed butter and add all of the powders listed in the ingredients along with the coconut oil to help everything stick. Then blend until everything looks consistent.
3. Wash hands throroughly, and take some of the mixture and roll into balls. If you like, take to bowls and pour some matcha powder in one bowl and spirulina in the other bowl, and roll the bowls into the powder for some extra benefits.
4. Refrigerate for 20+ minutes, and enjoy. (They dont need to stay refrigerated).
